Pr 1:23  Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.

God is going to show you things to come and what he planes to do in your life and in the church. 

 

God has been moving us into position.  Closed doors that needed to be closed, place desires in our hearts to draw us unto the place where we can experience God in a greater way and have a greater impact on those around us. 

 

Transition for Completion

 

Transition.  = action word…to shift, move, switch, to change

God took you from where you were and placed you into position to fulfill your purpose and ultimately God’s plan. 

 

 

Where are we transitioning to?  Completion

 

1Pe 5:10  But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

 

Who will make you perfect? It is His job to make you he is the master craftsman (He’s still working on me)

 

 

Perfect = katartizo kat-ar-tid’-zo; Katah = to go towards  Artios = fitted, completion, perfection

 

Illustration:  When Michaelangelo created the statue of David.  Someone asked how did you create such a perfectly proportioned statue out of a huge piece of rock.  He responded the statue was there all along all I did was just let it out.

 

God has placed and planted some things on the inside of you that are just waiting to come out. 

Don’t give up on me yet, I might look a little rough and unfinished, my situation might not look so good right now, my problem might be blocking your view, But God is not through with me yet, I am just waiting to come out.

 

God gives you a glimpse of his perfect plan for your life.  You then look into the mirror of God’s word and see how far you are from perfection.  You find yourself asking God how is it that you plan to make this perfect image out of something so rough as me.

 

God would answer you by saying “I will take you through transition”

 

You might be going through a valley but you will soon be standing on the mountain once again

Sickness – to healing

Confusion – to clarity

 

 

The only reason you are going through this time of hardship and suffering and pain is so God can bring out of you what He saw was perfect.

 

God allowed you to go through the fire to burn away that which didn’t fit the frame of his picture perfect.

 

I am going to move towards completion!!!

 

The next step after suffering is completion
